She’s bringing hers next week and I think she said she had an extra one I can borrow. Saweeeeeeeeeeeet.
That the reason I didn’t enjoy going to school today was not because it was boring, but because I had to drive to school instead of riding my bike.

I want an IRO Mark V frame. However, I am using an old Raleigh Technium frame. I want to transfer as many parts over from this bike to that bike.
I know my wheels, seat, sprocket, and pedals and such will fit. I intend on buying an IRO bottom bracket. However, I believe the bike I have is a 1” headset (so I cant use my handlebars or stem), and the Mark V is fitted for 1” 1/8 headsets.
Does anyone know if IRO frames come with the headset, or if I have to buy that, along with a new stem and bars.

I’m losing my mind. Every morning I wake up and try to figure out if my memories from the night before actually happened or if they were just snippets from my dreams. This morning I woke up with the memory of one of my friends telling me she would do “secret things” if only she owned camouflage patterned clothing. I have no idea what these “secret things” consist of, but I’m hoping they include a bank robbery, tandem bikes, and a secret late night dance party.

Heading down to Prospect Park now to ride around and lounge around. It’s a rare Brooklyn appearance for me, so if you’re in the neighborhood, drop me a line!
A moving truck parked on 9th Street in Park Slope was double-parked, but specifically and very obviously went out of their way to not block the bike lane. As I rode by, I waved at them and said, “thank you for not blocking the bike lane!” They waved back.
I wish I had taken a picture of this truck, though, because I’d like to publish the picture of how they parked to be a lesson to all moving companies, delivery companies, and UPS and FedEx trucks of how to double park without putting cyclists in danger.
The moving company, by the way, was Seamen’s Moving.
And if you see any other people going out of their way to keep cyclists safe, please thank them. There’s a lot of negativity out on the streets of New York when it comes to cars and bikes, so let’s exert a little positivity when we can.
