Cyclist's Portraits
Hey, your blog is awesome sauce. I’m a huge fan. I’m also a photographer who is starting a series on cyclist portraits in the Brooklyn/NYC area and was wondering where you were based and if you could possibly help me get the word out. It’d be awesome if you could help. Here’s my original post on my tumblr.  Thanks for checking this out!  ...

turtalia: heartbrakebiker: If anyone sits down with me for more than 5 minutes, I will try to convince them to commute to work on a bicycle. Because it’s the best thing ever. Of course, I always like to talk about it at work because that’s where I am riding to. There’s nothing like sharing a couple of bike stories… awesome :)  (though I totally wimped out due to rain today) (lame, I...

Touring Tips
- well besides having a comfortable bike and knowing how to work on it: - find a saddle that you really like - only take what you REALLY need - stretch every morning - embrace the fact that you’re going to be really stinky and at some point someone will think you are homeless. - embrace the inevitable highs and lows  - take tons of snacks - take advantage of rivers and natural bodies...

Tips on long treks?
Hello Hello, Okay so I’m looking to do a major trek halfway across Canada next summer, including passing over the rockies, from Vancouver to Winnipeg. Anyone out there have any suggestions re: routes, gear (currently in process of trying to acquire new bike), food etc.? Thanks

Lancashire Police has in the last fortnight been asking cyclists to prove the bikes they are riding are their own. The rider is asked to prove, either with a receipt or some other proof, that the bicycle actually belongs to them. A failure to convince the police that the bike is not their own…
