ALERT!! IF YOU LIVE IN THE SHORT NORTH, VICTORIAN VILLAGE OR OLD TOWNE EAST, THERE IS A BICYCLE THIEF AT WORK!! I WAS JUST TOLD OF THE 4TH AND 5TH BIKES STOLEN IN THE LAST 24 HOURS!! THEY ARE CUTTING BIKE CHAINS AND U-LOCKS!! BE HYPER AWARE OF WHERE YOU ARE LOCKED AND WHO IS AROUND!! 

THERE IS A SPECIAL CIRCLE IN HELL FOR BIKE THIEVES!! 

A 50 year old cyclist was hit at the intersection of Olentangy and Dodridge. This blogger witnessed a driver smack into the rider while he was waiting for the light at the west side of Dodridge, turning right on to Olentangy. The automobile slammed into the rear of the cyclist, destroying the bike and breaking the riders leg. The driver was not paying attention and never saw the stationary rider.

Tomorrow will be my illustrious return to the madmax racing that is cyclocross. Well… just Cbus Cross Practice! (yes, we’re talkin’ about practice!), and I sorted out a new CX bike and am ready to get smashy!
