Somethings about nothing: Two race recaps! And ramblings.... «
So I went up to Dekalb to race last weekend. I was in the Women’s Cat 4 race and out of 49 women I got 17th! I am pretty pumped about that. The course had tons of turns and a flyover.

I still don’t feel comfortable bunny hopping much on my CX bike, so I ran the logs. I don’t really think I lost much time to be honest. As you can see in the back, not everyone successfully cleared the logs.

Really great race. Super tough but had a lot of fun.
The mud in this section was about 8-10” deep. Totally unrideable. However that didn’t stop me from trying on the last lap..

New Team… new bike… same barriers…
Tomorrow will be my illustrious return to the madmax racing that is cyclocross. Well… just Cbus Cross Practice! (yes, we’re talkin’ about practice!), and I sorted out a new CX bike and am ready to get smashy!
